How to get started
Back

The only requirement to begin logging your CME credit
is to register with
TheAnswerPage. When prompted, select a username and password that
you will then use to log in and out when studying the Question of
the Day. You will be able to log your activity with no committment
for 30 days.
How it works
Back
to Top
The Answer Page, Inc. offers American Medical Association
Physician's Recognition Award (AMA PRA) category 1 CME credit through
the The Beam Institute for studying the Question of the Day. Unlike many other
sites offering CME credit, there are no quizzes to take after
your study. We verify your participation with a log in and log out
system. You simply enter your username and password before beginning
your study, then enter it again at the end of each question. In
order to track your use of the site accurately and to meet our accreditation
requirements, you must log in and out separately for each question
you study. Each daily Question and Answer earns you 1/4 credit
of Category I CME credit towards the American Medical Association
Physician's Recognition Award. In order to verify your participation,
without requiring a quiz, you must spend several minutes but no
more than 45 minutes prior to logging out for each day's question
and answer. Certificates are issued in full and half-hour increments
based on your total accumulated credit.
You may study as many questions as you wish from as many specialty
sites on TheAnswerPage as you wish.
You will be able to review your CME account in the "MyCME"
section, where you will see a record of all questions and answers
you have studied for credit. When you are ready to receive a certificate
of your activity, you simply select "Certificates" from
the CME menu or follow the links from the MyCME section. Certificates
are available immediately for downloading and printing from your
computer. In order to cover our administrative and accreditation
costs there is a modest fee of $150 per year for unlimited certificates.
You may log activity for 30 days without paying the certificate
fee, but activity more than 30 days old will no longer be eligible
for credit.
Note that TheAnswerPage uses the log in information you provide
for the sole purpose of verifying your participation in the CME
activity. We do not use this information to track your use of the
Internet in any other way. For details, please read our Privacy
Statement.
